Tartu Tammeka will host Viims in the transition match of the Premium League. This is the last match of Sander Puri’s professional career. The match will start at 18:00 in the Annemõisa football hall and Soccernet TV will broadcast it live.
“I wear Tammeka’s jersey for the last time with the same joy with which I have done so for the last two seasons. We want to finish the job properly so that we can go on vacation or retire in a good mood,” Puri said in his pre-match comments.
Tammeka won the opening match at Sportland Arena 5-0 with a brace from Ahmed Adebayo Basher, supported by Giacomo Uggeri, Tanel Tammik and Dominic Laaneots with a brace each.
“The series lasts two games. But with zero behind, we were able to politely kill our chances. Nothing was done, but it’s definitely a confidence-inspiring situation for the home game,” the coach said Tammeka Marti Pähn after the opening match.
Viims goalkeeper Rasmus Armas: “The plan was simple: score at least one goal ourselves and not let the opponent score. Neither of us succeeded. 5:0 is a reality. It is very difficult to imagine that we could move forward a win after the second game.”
