The seven finalists of the Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu, or UMK, preliminary round of Finland’s Eurovision Song Contest were announced on Wednesday evening, one of whom is rapper Nublu alongside Finnish rapper Mikael Gabriel. Their article is “Vox Populi”, which will be published on January 19th.
The rappers have previously collaborated on the singles “Hint” and “Universum”. The latter also won the Estonian Music Award in the music video of the year category in 2021.
The songs ranked according to the announcement will compete for Finland’s representation in the Eurovision Song Contest:
1. Cyan Kicks – “Dancing with Demons”
2. Sexmane – “Mania”
3. Sara Siipola – “Shit”
4. Jesse Markin – “Glow”
5. Windows95man – “No rules!”
6. Sini Sabotage – “Kuori Mua”
7. Michael Gabriel x Nublu – “Popular Voice”
