VIDEO ⟩ Birds take over Texas state parking lot

A few days ago, Yvonne, who lives in Houston, Texas, shared a scary video on TikTok of a parking lot overrun by birds, the New York Post reports.

The woman compared what she saw to the film “Birds” by American director Alfred Hitchcock. “These birds were not afraid even when I honked,” Yvonne said.

The birds did not move even when people passed by them and children shouted in their direction.

The parking lot was taken over by handturpiales, which are found in North America and especially in populated areas. Handturpials are very common in Houston and love to gather in mall parking lots where fast food restaurants are located.

That’s why it’s no surprise that this kind of scene has already happened in Houston. For example, the video below is from January 2020.
