“Would I do it now? Probably not.” Kim Kardashian regrets parenting mistakes

The 43-year-old reality star Kim Kardashian she admitted she regrets letting her first daughter, North, wear red lipstick at the age of five. “I look back and there are times when I let my daughter wear red lipstick on Christmas. Would I do it now? Probably not.”

The mother of four kept 2018 in mind as she attended the family’s annual Christmas party with then-husband Kanye West and their three children, North, Saint and Chicago. Their fourth child, Salmo, had not yet been born.

When Kim shared photos from the event, North’s now 10-year-old bright red lips immediately caught attention. Of course, Kim was heavily criticized at the time. So, in her defense of her, Kim claimed that she was the little girl herself who chose him.

Someone who will no doubt be happy to hear Kim’s regrets with North is Kanye, who in 2019 revealed that he banned his daughter from wearing makeup until she was a teenager. Kim has decided that her youngest daughter, Chicago, now has stronger restrictions than her older sister, North.

“North is still trying to do her makeup, but she’s very tense because she knows her dad doesn’t like it,” Kim said and added that that’s why they fight a lot at home. “I don’t think she’s at the point of going to Sephora to try something on yet. Last night we were in the makeup department and she tried something on but she immediately discontinued it.”

However, according to Kim, she is very happy that her daughters can experiment with her makeup at any time at home. “They can use everything I have in my drawers. I think it’s a fun game for them,” the star added.

According to Kim, North’s experimentation with makeup has paid off in every way, as the girl is extremely skilled at special effects makeup. North also previously revealed that she sees herself as an artist of the future.
