56-year-old Samantha Fox, who made a splash in pop music in the 1980s with her songs and good looks, wanted to take a British Airways flight from London to Munich. But when she got on the plane, she Fox started arguing with another passenger. The plane had already reached the runway and was waiting for permission to take off, but due to Fox’s behavior the pilot decided to cancel it.
All passengers were forced off the plane, were put up in a hotel and could only continue their journey the next day, The Sun reports. Police said Fox was probably drunk.
Fox himself is embarrassed by the incident and publicly apologizes for his behavior.
The last years of the star’s life were difficult, last March her sister Vanessa had a heart attack and died suddenly at just 50 years old. Samantha and Vanessa were very close. For example, Fox wrote in her autobiography, published in 2017, about how Vanessa protected him from his abusive father as a child.
