“The bonus money collected in Coop during the calendar year does not expire on a specific date, but any bonus amount earned can be used for the next 12 months from the moment it occurs. Thanks to this, the use of points bonuses among Coop customers have always been very high and only a small percentage of the total remains unused”, explains Ranno Pajuri, marketing director of Coop Eesti Keskühistu. “The money from unused bonuses is channeled back by Coop’s regional cooperatives into their community, donating it to charity or the development of local shops.”
Coop bonus points can be collected both with the Säästukaart, Säästukaart Plus and with the Coop Bank card, which also functions as a customer card in Coop stores. The bonus system is structured in such a way that, together with discounts from the customer program, you can save up to two months of purchases per year.
