Tapa fought, but Mistra won
Home team SK Tapa opened the scoring when Trivo Vaigurand was sent off. This year’s cup winner Mistra scored the first goal 2 minutes later when Serhii Orlovskyi made a shot. In the 5th minute Mistra was ahead 3:1 and in the 10th minute 6:4. Tapa remained dutifully on Mystra’s tail. In the 15th minute Jan-Egert Valdmann scored to make it 7:8, and a minute later Vaigurand scored the equalizer at 8:8. The visiting team did not let the draw last long. Kaspar Lees scored 5 minutes before the end of the first half, giving Mistra a 3 goal lead. With a powerful sprint, Mistra won the first half with the score of 17:12.
In the first 2 minutes of the second half Lees and Arno Vare led Mistra with 8 goals, the score was 20:12. The score increased, but the distance remained the same: in the 45th minute the scoreboard showed 25:17 in favor of Mistra. Mistra also exceeded the threshold of 10 goals ahead and so in the 55th minute the score was 31:18. The match was declared over at 34:21.
Kaspar Lees was Mistra’s most productive bowler with 10 goals. Serhii Orlovskyi scored 6 goals and Arno Vare scored 5 goals. SK Tapa’s most successful scorer was Marcus Rättel with 5 goals. Ilja Kosmirak scored 4 goals.
