Estonian basketball player Anna Gret Asi played a good game against the 11th ranked University of Texas in the United States University League, but Oklahoma State still had to admit the superiority of a strong opponent.
Texas got off to a fast start, taking a nine-point lead in the first quarter and holding it through the second quarter. At halftime, the visitors led 39-30 and Oklahoma State trailed by 11 points entering the third quarter.

The lead expanded to another 16 points in the decisive quarter and Oklahoma State had to settle for a 66:76 loss (14:20, 16:19, 23:18, 13:19).
Asi remained on the court for more than 36 minutes, during which he scored 22 points (2 5/6, 3/4 3/4, free throws 3/4), distributed five assists, grabbed two rebounds, made a interception and one block.
Hannah Gusters added 14 points, but four Texas players scored at least 15 points, led by Madison Booker with 19 points, six rebounds, five assists and five steals. Taylor Jones had a double-double with 18 points and 14 rebounds.
Oklahoma State has 11 wins and seven losses this season, maintaining seventh place in the Big 12 Conference. They will face the University of Cincinnati on Thursday night.
