The 52-year-old rapper spoke to host Jennifer Hudson about her grandchildren on an episode of The Jennifer Hudson Show, revealing the cute name they call her. Snoop is the father of sons Cordell (26), Corde (29) and Julian (25) and daughter Cori (24), writes People.
“Okay, I’m trying to imagine Snoop as a grandfather. How many grandchildren do you really have?,” Jennifer Hudson asked the legendary rapper. “I actually have 12 grandchildren total,” she replied.
“They are all different ages and sizes and I love them all equally,” Snoop Dogg smiled. “Actually, today is my oldest nephew’s birthday, so I’ll be on the road for his birthday when I leave here,” he said, referring to his nine-year-old nephew, Zion Broadus.
Then the host asked if any of Snoop Dogg’s grandchildren had given him a special nickname.
“He was the first one to give me the name. He called me Papa Noop because he couldn’t say Snoop, so he started calling me Papa Noop,” the rapper recalled of the cute nickname he received from xta Zion. “And as time went on, he learned to say Snoop, so now I’m Daddy Snoop to him.”
