Tapa Margo Novikov OÜ paid the highest salary among Estonian car transport companies in the third quarter.
Among road transport companies with five or more employees, in the third quarter there were four companies where the average gross salary was more than 3,000 euros per month and 17 companies where the average salary was more than 2,000 euros, according to the latest quarterly logistics report of the Äripää Infobank.
“For us, the salary is stable and normal. It is easier to pay a decent salary than to constantly change workers,” said Margo Novikov, the owner of the company of the same name.
In the third quarter the average salary in his forestry transport company amounted to 3,420 euros per month. The wages of the drivers depend on whether or not they are able to transport forests. If it is the rainy season in autumn and transportation cannot be carried out, employee wages may also be lower.
