Aigro did not make it to the second round of the opening race of the Four Jump Mountain Tour | Ski jumping

Ski jumper Artti Aigro failed to make it to the second round of the first round of the Four Jumps Tour in Oberstdorf, Germany.

Aigro jumped 111 meters in the opening round of the competition on Friday, which placed him 45th overall out of 50 athletes. Among the losers was, for example, the overall winner of the previous MK season, the Norwegian Halvor Egner Granerud, who limited himself to a jump of 105.5 meters and finished second to last.

Germany’s Andreas Wellinger won the opening race of the Tour of the Four Hills, sharing the longest jump of the day with Slovenia’s Lovro Kos with an aerial flight of 139.5 meters recorded in the opening race. Wellinger scored 309.3 points and was three points ahead of Japan’s Ryoyu Kobayashi in second, while Austria’s Stefan Kraft was third.

The Four Jumps Tour continues on New Year’s Day in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany.
