Bunker Partner, who won a tough victory in Narva, became the leader | Soccer

In the Estonian indoor football championship, three rounds before the end of the main tournament, Tallinna Bunker Partner took first place in the table and, thanks to the victory in Narva, overtook Viimsi FC by two points.

Tallinna Bunker Partner laid the foundation to become leaders on Wednesday this week, when they defeated FC Viims 6:2 in the postponed match of the eighth round. After Viimsi FC lost to Tartu Vald/Ravens Futsal 4:8 in the opening match of the eleventh round on Friday, Bunker Partner moved to the top of the table after the victory in Narva.

The victory came in a difficult way for the citizens of the capital, because the inhabitants of Narva, who are in sixth place in the ranking, showed the resistance of their hearts. Bunker Partner won the half with the goal of Kevin Sooaluste 1:0, but at the beginning of the second half the home team equalized with the support of more than 300 spectators with Vitaly Kutuzov’s solitary attack. At the end of the match, however, the guests were more precise: they scored themselves – Marek Naal was precise – and under pressure they forced their opponents to make a mistake so much so that the Narva players scored an own goal.

Bunker Partner, who started the championship with two defeats, won nine league matches in a row and also won two in the cup.

In the Ida-Virumaa clash in Jõhvi, Sillamäe FC NPM Silmet took a 3-0 lead against Jõhvi FC Phoenix. The half ended 3:1, and although in the second half the success of the Sillamää team was briefly reduced to just one goal (5:4), the guests, who rose to third place in the table, won 8:5 . Stanislav Gussev was the most successful among the winners with three goals, two goals were scored by Costa Rican Pablo Ortega, who made his debut in the Estonian championship, and Anton Pfening, the most successful scorer of the championship, who now has 19 networks. Even Danila Tsõgankov’s four accurate shots did not save Jõhvi from defeat.

In the first match on Saturday, Rummu Dynamo had a lead of 9:5 (4:2) over FC Jõgeva Wolves. Kirill Timofeev scored three goals for the winners.

Standings (11/14): 1. Tallinna FC Bunker Partner 27, 2. Viimsi FC 25, 3. Sillamäe FC NPM Silmet 22, 4. Tartu Vald/Ravens Futsal 21, 5. Narva United FC 16, 6. Jõhvi FC Phoenix 13, 7. Rummu Dynamo 6, 8. FC Jõgeva Wolves 0.

The twelfth round matches will be played on January 20th and 21st. Sillamäe FC NPM Silmet – Narva United FC, Tallinna FC Bunker Partner – Rummu Dynamo and Jõhvi FC Phoenix – Viimsi FC will meet on Saturday. The round ends on Sunday with FC Jõgeva Wolves – Tartu Vald/Ravens Futsal.

Furthermore, three of the four cup quarter-finals will be played next week. Jõhvi FC Phoenix – FC Jõgeva Wolves and Kopli City FC – Sillamäe FC NPM Silmet II will meet on Wednesday, while Tallinna FC Bunker Partner and Saku Sporting will meet on Sunday. The last quarter-final will be played on January 24, then Viimsi FC will face Sillamäe FC NPM Silmet. The semi-finals and final of the cup competitions will be held in Jõhvi on 17 and 18 February.
