Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek (26) will have a new place to play at Eintracht Frankfurt.
According to The Athletic, the Dutchman was already in Germany this week when he underwent a medical at the club. The loan will take place on January 1, when the winter transfer window opens in Europe’s top leagues.
Van de Beek, who moved to England for almost 40 million euros in 2020, has not set foot there yet, last year he was on loan at Everton. This season, the midfielder has only two games available, 21 minutes of play to be exact.
Van de Beck’s loan to the Bundesliga’s sixth team lasts until the end of the season, after which Eintracht will be able to acquire the player for 11 million euros.
