The first artists of the Estonian music awards gala have been announced

It has garnered the most nominations at this year’s music awards DOGhe has a very intense and challenging year 2023 behind him, in which his dream profession made him happier every day. “The opportunity to go on stage for the first time at the 2024 Estonian Music Awards gala means to me that I am doing everything right in my career. People in Estonia talk about my music and me as an artist and, I hope, also as a person. You will see me shine on stage in every aspect and it will definitely be one of my best performances”, he whispered.

With four nominations Bed bathersfor him, the first appearance at the gala after a successful year is the culmination of a lot of work and a reward in itself. “Artists who have had a successful year can perform at music awards. If we are invited there, it means that our cause has been noticed. This is a great recognition for us and we don’t take it lightly. There is tension, excitement and anticipation in our stage number – all this at the same time and in harmony”, the band invites fans to come and enjoy the show.

While NOËP performs at the gala for the sixth time (also with Tenfold Rabbit), he doesn’t take the performance of the big event for granted at all: «It’s always a great pleasure! The opportunity to perform at music awards is still a privilege and also means that, as a result, the album given away the previous year, the stadium concert with fourteen thousand people, the many festival appearances here and elsewhere and the writing of the official anthem of Tartu2024 have been successful for people. This year the show will be completely different from what I usually do”, she reveals, but for the moment she leaves the future a secret.

The winners of the Estonian Music Awards 2024 will be announced at a spectacular gala on February 1 at Unibet Arena. At the annual Estonian music event, Estonia’s most outstanding music producers, artists and authors are honored by awarding 20 prizes, 18 of which were chosen by a jury of 160 music experts.

The recipient of the “Contribution to Estonian Music” award was chosen by the Estonian Association of Phonogram Producers. People will be able to choose their favorite artist of the year in a referendum starting on January 18, which will be open on the portal www.sky.ee.

The awards ceremony will be broadcast live on February 1st by Kanal 2 starting at 7.30pm.
